I worked with Polly Meyer at a low point in my career in which I was demoted from that role as leader and almost fired. I was not reading my surroundings and not cultivating key relationships that mattered. My reputation, I thought, didn’t matter. I was the boss. She was there to help me pick up the pieces and figure out why and how and what went wrong. But most importantly to help me re-create myself. I will say it is no coincidence that I am thriving and doing well in my new role. There was a 360 evaluation of me at my new clinic and I got an A+.
