A press conference after difficult news. A leadership team on a main stage in front of thousands. A spokesperson fielding the question everyone hoped wouldn't come. I prepare organizations and their leaders for these moments the way professionals prepare - with real cameras, real pressure, and rehearsal built on the actual messages that matter.
I spent more than a decade as a professional commercial actor, on-camera spokesperson, and communications strategist before training the people whose work is scrutiny itself - news anchors, executives, elected officials, and public-agency leaders. This is not theoretical media training. It is preparation for the room, the camera, the microphone, the question, and the pressure.

An intensive, hands-on day for a team of leaders or spokespeople - built for government agencies and corporations.
This engaging full-day workshop is hands-on, practical, and designed around the real communication demands your leaders may face: media interviews, public statements, difficult questions, crisis communication, stakeholder messaging, and on-camera presence.
Participants learn how to clarify the message, bridge back under pressure, stay composed when questions become difficult, and communicate with authority, warmth, and credibility.
The day includes real-time practice, group activity, and on-camera rehearsal - culminating in mock interviews with cameras, microphones, and lights, so the first time your people face real pressure isn't the real thing. Each participant leaves with individual feedback and a custom media handbook the team keeps.

For leadership teams preparing for a major stage moment, public-facing event, company summit, investor audience, industry presentation, or large-scale internal meeting.
It is not enough for the message to be accurate. It has to land.
This engagement helps executives and leadership teams refine the message, strengthen delivery, rehearse transitions, anticipate the room, and prepare to communicate with clarity, presence, and credibility when the stakes are visible.
Organizations in technology, powersports, energy, healthcare, media, and public-sector environments have brought Polly in to prepare leaders for high-visibility communication and major stage moments.

Most media training is taught by communicators.
Polly’s is taught by someone who has lived the pressure of performance.
Before coaching executives and spokespeople, Polly spent more than a decade as a professionally trained commercial actor and on-camera spokesperson, appearing in more than one hundred commercials and working in environments where message, timing, presence, and credibility had to land quickly.
She also worked behind the scenes at Fox 9 News, where she saw how quickly credibility can be lost - and how it can be regained when someone knows how to steady themselves, clarify the message, and respond under pressure.
That combination gives her media training a distinct edge. The work blends communication strategy, executive presence, acting technique, message discipline, and real-time pressure practice so leaders are not just told what to do. They practice doing it.
This is where leaders learn to be clear, credible, and composed when people are watching.
Â
Polly has coached and trained executives, spokespeople, public officials, candidates, media professionals, and teams across corporate, government, healthcare, media, and public-sector environments.
Experience includes work with leaders and teams connected to WCCO, SPS Commerce, ExxonMobil, Honeywell, Project Management Institute, Olmsted County, Minnesota Department of Health, and organizations across technology, energy, healthcare, powersports, and public service.
